3rd Grade Trip to the MET!

Third grade had the unique pleasure of visiting the Metropolitan Museum. As they weaved through the halls of the Met, they gained a glimpse of varying communities across the globe. Students actively engaged in discussions to analyze the artists’ point of view, and to interrogate the message that the painter may have been trying to convey about their community, or society at large. Children were also able to make connections & elaborate on differences they observed between cultures, while also exploring fundamental human truths that transcend all human societies. It was a joy to broaden our horizons & learn outside the classroom. Everyone had a blast!
